We are looking for a Head of Publishing for a highly successful talent agency in London.
This is such an exciting role where you will have access to a truly inspiring raft of talent as well as the opportunity to source and represent new voices!
This could suit anyone who has a strong track record in a senior leadership role who has worked directly with successfully publishing trade fiction or non-fiction books and authors. You might be working in a literary agency at the moment or within a trade publisher.
You don't have to come from an editorial background and we would absolutely welcome applications from publicity, marketing, rights and sales. This role will give you loads of autonomy to run this section of the agency so we are looking for someone who is excited about this and has the ability to run a team, strategy and business.

- Outstanding knowledge of the publishing market
- Creative, with experience of working closely with talent to deliver great books that reflect their vision
- Understand and have a passion for following up to date trends, topics and movements
- You will understand the importance of a talent's public brand and how to work and communicate with talent
- Ability to lead a team
- Professional, diligent and proactive
- Adaptable self-starter with great stake-holder management skills
