Head of Publishing

We have been exclusively retained by a medical publisher and global conferences business to find a Head of Publishing for their London office.

Managing a team of 5 editors and 3 other direct reports, you will be responsible for the team delivering 7 publications on a quarterly basis as well as liaising with physicians and pharmaceutical companies. You will also have profit & loss responsibility so experience in this previously would be an advantage however, training would also be offered.

We are ideally looking for the following:

·Editorial skill set including strong writing skills
·People management
·Strong communication skills
·Strong stakeholder management skills
·Excellent people manager

There will be 10 conference that will be necessary to go to over the year, 3 will be in the US and the other 7 in Europe and UK.
