Head of Social

Are you an influential leader in social media with experience working in the b2b space? We have an amazing opportunity for a Head of Social to join our client, a highly prestigious professional membership body - this is a brand new role responsible for leading the strategic development of their online channels to increase online engagement and build a strong, and highly engaged online community. This is a hybrid role with the client's offices based in Central London.

Working across all social media platforms, the Head of Social will join the organisation with a clear focus and strategy in mind, and with strong influencing skills in order to deliver this to the Directors across the business. The Head of Social will devise and implement a strategic social media communications plan which will engage and inspire their audience. This individual will develop a roadmap of enhancements to ensure their socials are easy to navigate, and are relevant for their growing membership base.

The successful candidate will be highly strategic, with proven experience in managing and delivering a social media function at a senior level, ideally in a membership, b2b or agency environment - this is not a consumer driven brand and therefore working with the wider professional sector and experience in engaging members within this sector is important. A working knowledge of SEO, CRM, online advertising and paid social media distribution is essential, as well as proven experience in building an online community.
