Higher Education Sales Executive (Midlands)

A leading global publisher is seeking an experienced Field Sales Executive to join their very successful Higher Education UK Sales team to be responsible for promoting their print & digital products across the Midlands territory. This is a home-based field sales role where the ideal candidate will be based in the Midlands.

As part of the Higher Education sales team for the UK, the Field Sales Executive for the Midlands will be responsible for promoting key products and solutions, in print and digital format to Higher Education institutions and academics throughout the territory with a view to maximising revenue and achieving the agreed sales target. As the Sales Executive for this area you will be responsible for visiting the main Higher Education institutions to promote the products and close sales, focusing on new business opportunities with particular emphasis on direct and institutional sales. The Sales Executive will be responsible for arranging, preparing and giving presentations to key decision makers across all levels and departments of the Higher Education institutions, as well as liaising with campus bookshops on a regular basis highlighting relevant new titles, new editions, and promotions, and in order to organise orders for the start of each University's academic year.

The ideal Field Sales Executive for the Midlands will be driven to achieve results with a strong customer focus and have a proven record of sales success ideally within the educational publishing industry (or a relevant sector) and/or of selling digital and print products. You will need to have a full driving licence and flexibility to travel. In return our client offers an excellent salary, bonus and benefits package.
