HR Director

They offer great flexibility, a competitive salary and benefits package, and would ideally look for the HR Director to work from the Glasgow office minimum 3 days per week.

Reporting to the COO, the HR Director will lead Human Resources efforts to ensure performance and organisational excellence, adherence with all regulatory, compliance and legal human resources issues, and promote an environment of respect for all employees. The HR Director will work closely with senior leaders to develop, enhance, and implement effective human resource strategies and programs, including organisational development and training, safety, talent acquisition, performance and talent management, compensation, and benefits. Key responsibilities include (amongst others):

  • Design and implement HR strategy that supports the achievement of short- and long-term

business objectives.

  • Hire, develop, manage, and inspire an HR team to achieve strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment process and collaborate with the senior management team to create innovative resource strategy.
  • Develop and implement a cogent talent management strategy encompassing engagement, communication, reward and recognition, staff development, inclusion, diversity, equity, and access.
  • Develop and implement meaningful onboarding/offboarding process.
  • Plan HR automation and coordinate selection, implementation, and maintenance of HR

technology.

This role of HR Director would be ideally suited to an HR leader with expertise in blending their strategic HR competencies with strong hands-on capabilities to support growing organisations. The HR Director will ideally have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and

experience, alongside a successful background developing organisational HR strategy and be competent operating tactically in all areas of HR. With a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, as well as excellent oral and written communication and listening skills, the HR Director will have the ability to quickly develop trust and credibility with all stakeholders developing strong partnerships.
