This is an excellent opportunity to join the editorial team at Icon Books, an expanding independent publisher of non-fiction based near Caledonian Road station in north London.

Icon publishes thought-provoking popular books on science, history, politics, sport, business and much else besides, including the famous ‘Graphic Guides’ series.

The successful candidate will ideally have 1–2 years’ editorial experience, as the job will involve project managing, copy-editing, proofing, and liaising with authors and external suppliers. An eye for detail is essential, as are strong organisational skills, an excellent grasp of written English and a rigorous, self-motivated approach to meeting deadlines and managing schedules.

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000, dependent on experience
