Information and Research Coordinator

We have an amazing opportunity within the Information Management team of our London based client, a highly respected professional services organisation who develop international standards for the finance sector. Joining the organisation on a 12 month FTC, we are looking for an Information and Research Coordinator.

The Information and Research Coordinator role will be the first point of contact within the Information Management team and will play a primary role in providing information and research services to the organisation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide a research service to the organisation, answering queries from technical and operations staff, supporting the team with preparing regular current awareness updates including daily summary of press coverage
  • Consultation support including the smooth running of the consultation database
  • Systems and administration support, overseeing the new joiners and leavers process in relation to research and information resources, creating SharePoint content and supporting with the ad hoc systems administration tasks
  • Maintain library and systems information records

The Information and Research Coordinator role will be part of a continuously evolving part of the business, always learning and looking to provide exceptional information and research services to the organisation, as well as providing proactive customer service with internal customers. The successful candidate will have a positive and proactive attitude, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and a comfortable affinity with analytics and numerics. The ability to multi task, work as a team and deliver exceptional customer service is absolutely essential, alongside a willingness to learn new skills, systems and processes. Any experience in library information management and business information databases such as Ebsco, Nexis, Newsdesk, AlphaSense, and Capital IQ would be an advantage in applying for this role.
