Inside Sales Consultant

A leading global publisher has a new opportunity for an Inside Sales Consultant to join their prestigious Higher Education Sales team, playing a key role in promoting their print & digital education products across Europe. This is an ideal role for someone looking to develop their existing sales / business development experience and offers fantastic training and development, including a sales training qualification. The role is based remotely from the UK.

Working as part of a supportive and friendly team, where solid training will be provided, the Inside Sales Consultant will be responsible for promoting learning products, in print and digital format to Higher Education institutions and academics throughout the territory with a view to maximising revenue and achieving the agreed sales target. You will be responsible for promoting the products and closing sales, focusing on new and existing business opportunities with a particular emphasis on direct and institutional sales. It will also involve entering customer contact and activity data onto their CRM system on a daily basis, ensuring accurate data, to be able to identify key strategic accounts and forge close working relationships and partnerships, arranging and preparing presentations to key faculty decision makers at Higher Education Institutions and demoing digital solutions virtually - occasional travel would be required.

The ideal Inside Sales Consultant will have some previous customer service / sales experience, having used a CRM. Any experience within publishing or higher education would be highly beneficial, along with language skills - German is ideal. The successful candidate will have great interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
