Inside Sales Executive

A leading international publisher is seeking an Inside Sales Executive for their Higher Education division to develop and maintain sales of their print & digital products across Western and Southern Europe. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, and hybrid working, with the successful Inside Sales Executive visiting the company's Hampshire office 1 day per week or fortnight.

As part of the Higher Education sales team, reporting to the Head of Sales, the main purpose of this role is to promote all Higher Education products (digital and print) to customers across Western and Southern Europe and carry out follow-up activity with institutions and academics. You will be responsible for:

  • Building strong working relationships with key institutions, and retaining business
  • Identifying and closing new business opportunities
  • Following up on all qualified new business and upsell opportunities
  • Recording data in the CRM system and ensuring it is maintained and up to date
  • Liaise with campus bookshops

The ideal Inside Sales Executive will have a successful track record of sales success. You will be highly motivated and well organised, with good time management and planning skills. Knowledge of the educational publishing industry is not essential however you must have great attention to detail and an ability to take on board and process information well. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential.
