International Sales Executive

A leading international education provider has an exciting new opening for an International Sales Executive to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a background in educational or academic publishing. This role will focus primarily on Africa, with frequent travel to that region.

Key duties:

  • Visit key educational institutions across the territory to sell digital and print products
  • Support the head of international markets to identify and agree contacts with target customers
  • Arrange and attend virtual or face to face meetings with key contacts or decision makers
  • Work with key resellers, bookshops and distributors to promote and generate new products
  • Monitor competitor activity across the region, including competitor key adoption activity, sales strategies and personnel
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to contribute towards overseas market activity

Experience / skills required:

  • A proven track record of sales success in the educational or academic publishing industry selling digital and print products is required
  • You will have proven excellent presentation, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • Fluency in English (native-speaker or near native speaker proficiency) is essential
  • Proactive with the ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changes
  • A clean driving license is essential
