Junior Communications Officer

Our client, a highly prestigious professional membership body within the financial industry are looking for a Junior Communications Officer to join their team based in their busy London based communications team on a hybrid working arrangement.

The Junior Communications Officer will be responsible for assisting the Communications Manager with all external communications including all media contact, writing copy and managing social media across Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. This role will also have the opportunity to assist in the development of content, and the delivery of events for the organisation.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a candidate with content or communications experience available immediately for a new role. This is largely a support role working with multiple stakeholders in the organisation, and an opportunity to utilise content and communications experience in a busy and fast paced communications team. The successful candidate will be organised, with excellent writing and communication as well as superb organisation skills. No prior experience is required except an interest in content and communications although any experience of working within a membership body, the public sector or an interest in working within a policy led environment would be an advantage in applying for this role.
