Junior Conference Producer – PT/FT

Are you a confident and highly organised person with impeccable attention to detail? We have a fantastic new role for a junior candidate who has experience working with corporate B2B events.

Based in London, the Junior Conference Producer will provide support to the administration team in planning, managing, executing and delivering corporate events, including awards dinners, seminars and conferences.

The role suit either an experienced conference producer looking for a 3-month short-term part-time role, or a junior level candidate looking for advancement.

This is a temporary to permanent role and offers candidates the opportunity to advance into an Events Team Manager position through their Management Trainee Programme.

Some Key Responsibilities will include:

• Project management of all events
• Deliver events on time an within budget
• Develop and implement marketing plans, including website updates
• Create event reports
• Speaker enlisting and management
• Act as principal contact for all event suppliers

The successful person will have:

• Previous experience of working in a B2B environment is a MUST
• At least one-year conference production experience is required
• Experience of inviting senior speakers for conferences and events
• Ability to deal with senior executives
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to quickly understand the financial services market
• Experience working with Power Point & Excel
• A self-starter, with ability to work both independently and in a team
• Ability to write strong content and marketing copy a bonus, but not requirement
