Junior Editor

A popular children's book publisher is looking for a Junior Editor to join their team on a 12 Fixed Term basis to develop and project manage the creation of books from concept to print ready file. High attention to detail is key for this role, as the successful candidate will be ensuring that all products fit the house style, run on schedule and to budget, and are of a high quality.

This role offers variety in the books that are being published across a range of formats, so an awareness of formats, age-ranges and subject matters is useful. Applicants must have a solid understanding of the editorial process and have a good people skills, as well as the ability to problem solve.
