Junior Reporter

Do you have an interest in Journalism and News Reporting? Our client, a leading B2B media business based in Central London, is looking to hire a Junior Reporter to join their team.

Reporting into the Editor you role will, on the whole, be responsible for compiling and producing top news stories, features and subbing other articles. Alongside this you will also be producing daily industry news stories for the website, and weekly email newsletter.

As well as being a B2B publisher our client is also a contract publisher and works with institutions to publish their journals. This role will also be responsible for liaising with one of their clients who publish journals and a year book each year. Using your journalistic skills, you will work with this client to write and sub edit features, source and commission copy, attend conferences and report on key industry news to be input into the yearbook and journals as appropriate.

This is a fantastic role for someone who is looking for the next step in their career after their first job.Ideally you will have experience in reporting for the transport sector, however other B2B reporting will also be considered.

You will have the following skills:

·Strong writing and reporting skills
·Ideally NCTJ qualified
·Strong subbing skills
·Interest and experience in B2B publishing
·Strong verbal communication skills
·Ability to attend industry events
·Strong networking skills
·InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro and ideally Adobe Audition
·Ability to travel internationally
