We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Sales team of a fast-growing children's publisher!
Our client is a popular children's book publisher based in the green Northampton, and they're looking to hire a Key Account Executive to cover a 12-month maternity and manage a portfolio of retail accounts in the UK. This role is a fantastic chance to step up from a Sales Executive role into a more strategic and analytical position, which will allow you to provide excelled customer care and grow the client portfolio by targeting new prospects.
The main responsibilities of this role:
·Supporting the Sales team in creating effective strategies to grow their book-buying customers
·Leading sales meetings with retail customers
·Identifying new retail opportunities for books and licensed product
·Being responsible for profit/loss strategies and sales targets for the allocated accounts
·Utilise customer data and analytics to identify new profit opportunities
The ideal candidate will be confident in their sales forecasting skills, and be good negotiators. Good communication and time management abilities are very important in this role, as is the ability to future-plan sales strategies for the different products.
