A highly successful medical publisher is looking for an ambitious, driven Key Account Manager to take responsibility for their major accounts, whilst maximising sales revenue and opportunities. As the new Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in client retention and revenue growth. This new role is a crucial role within the organisation to aid the company’s growth strategy as it helps to ‘ring-fence’ their most important and valued partners.
This hybrid role will identify new sales channels within the pharmaceutical industry and nurture existing contacts to grow revenue and identify your accounts biggest challenges and opportunities. You will work with senior clients on a day to day basis as well as maintain a comprehensive account contact matrix by area and geographical territory. The Key Account Manager will also network on social media as a lead source, and work closely with the senior management on client initiatives, as well as assessing account needs and identifying gaps. You will report on account progress against goals and forecasts and maximise the business opportunities for the organisation and the client.
The successful person will have proven experience in key account management, ideally within the Pharmaceutical or medical/healthcare industry, with a successful track record in medical/healthcare publishing/advertising or Pharma sales. You will have the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with account stakeholders at all levels. You will be a creative thinker, collaborative with leadership experience with strong attention to detail and proficient in all Microsoft applications.
