A leading international mass market book publisher seeks a Key Account Manager to manage national accounts selling highly commercial childrens books into the mass market sectors.
The Key Account Manager's role is to develop group sales of a wide range of well-known mainly mass-market character, generic and high profile licensed bestselling childrens books.
We wish to hear from enthusiastic and well organised sales candidates at all levels who have at least 3-5 years publishing sales experience selling commercial books into the non-trade or supermarket sectors.
You’ll be joining an established national sales team reporting to the Sales Director. This role would suit a hands-on salesperson wishing to get involved in every aspect of key account management, from planning, presenting to analysing data to controlling their own budget & cost base and willingness to pursue new business opportunities that arise.
The publisher has told us that candidates home location is unimportant as you are only required in the head office a couple of times a week for the usual sales meetings.
A competitive salary is on offer, plus very generous bonus as well as travel expenses, car allowance and usual office set up and pension contribution.
