We have an exciting new role for a Learning Content Director to join a globally recognised organisation at the forefront of learning and education. This role is based in the company's offices in Billund, Denmark and offers an excellent salary, bonus and benefits, along with a very attractive relocation support package.
This pivotal leadership role of Learning Content Director will lead a highly skilled team working across Editorial, Content and Production and your main remit will be to ensure content and products are developed to meet learning outcomes. The focus on learning and outcomes ensures learning materials and content solutions are both highly relevant and deliver on impact. This includes for teacher and student material, professional development, and pre-and post-sales support material for STEAM based learning products. Responsibilities will include:
- Defining key learning outcomes for products
- Ensuring the learning design is informed by market feedback
- Managing a team who commission content to support product success in the market
- Identifying evidence of learning impact as a result of product adoption, bringing key findings back from the market to inform current and future products
- Providing product specific briefings to sales to ensure product success in the market
- Ensuring a timely, cost effective and quality outsourced work flow with vendors for production and translation services
- Managing a workflow to create customised content for key markets such as the US and China
The ideal Learning Content Director will be a hands-on leader with a growth mindset and have extensive content experience in the education sector, either gained from the Educational Publishing space or as a teacher - importantly, you will be familiar with different pedagogical approaches. Solid team management experience and a proven track record at leading teams is essential, as well as a background in collaborating cross-functionally for joint success. The ability to conduct market research and ensure learning solutions are fit for purpose will be key as will be the ability to define and execute content plans locally and globally. An interest in or experience of applied STEAM learning would also be useful.
