We are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity in EdTech to work as a Learning Designer with an innovative education technology company that is transforming learning in schools through their award-winning platform. This role is based at our client's Blackburn office in Lancashire, not far from Manchester and Bradford.
The responsibilities of the Learning Designer role will include: writing, editing and shaping the content delivered through the platform, devising the resources and ensuring that the tailored feedback to answers is worded correctly, as well as working on the designs for the questions, ensuring that layout and ordering are correct, editing, feeding back to authors and essentially ensuring that there is progression and the content produces the educational outcomes required.
It would be advantageous to have previous experience as a Learning Designer or an Editor in education, with the ability to write instructional content using the correct style and language, as well as knowledge of the UK education sector and Primary school curriculum, however extensive or strong editorial experience will also be considered. Fantastic grammar, spelling and attention to detail will be required and an understanding of the editorial, peer review process.
This role will require someone who is a collaborative team player, and a driven, conscientious individual who wants to make a difference to children's learning and educational standards, through the work they are producing.
