Library Sales Manager | Northern England/Scotland | Academic. A leading academic publisher is looking to appoint an experienced HE Library Sales Manager to represent the company across the important territory – Northern England and Scotland. You will take responsibility for maximising sales of their e-library products and innovative e-resources for teaching and learning. These will be achieved by your building of strong relationships with both academic library staff and faculty through regular visits and calls to achieve agreed revenue targets.
Responsibilities will include:
- To engage with academic calling to support the sale of products driven by Faculty recommendation.
- To be the ‘go to person’ between faculty members and library staff
- To write a territory plan identifying key library accounts
- To attend library conferences as necessary
- To liaise with Library marketing managers.
The ideal candidate will be very well organised and will have brilliant communication, presentation and negotiating skills .Your experience of consultative, needs based selling will be a strong advantage.
