Licensing Sales Manager

A prestigious scientific press in London is looking for a Licensing Sales Manager to build a pipeline of licensing sales opportunities across their portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new prospective licensing partners and customers
  • Approaching new prospects to illustrate the publishing portfolio and content proposition
  • Managing customer relationships with regular communication and visits, to better understand their requirements and present new licensing opportunities
  • Maintaining a sales pipeline and generating sales reports
  • Updating the CRM system with lead activity and insights
  • Research the market to understand key players, competitors and trends

The ideal candidate will have some sales experience (preferably gained in a digital sales or STM publishing organisation) and an understanding of licensing rights, IP and contracts. They will be able to adopt a consultative selling style and match customer requirements with bespoke solutions.
