Editorial Assistant – Children’s Books

Little Tiger Press has an opening for an entry-level editorial position. This is an ideal opportunity for an aspiring editor to join Caterpillar Books’ creative team in a varied role, working across picture books, novelty board and non-fiction. You will be extremely organized, with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask. The Editorial Assistant is integral to the creative studio, working to support the editorial team and liaising closely with design, production, sales and marketing. You will be responsible for handling new editions of our books, as well as reprints and co-editions. Tasks will also include checking proof material, preparing sales and publicity content to brief and contributing to creative development meetings. Meticulous attention to detail is essential, as is a passion for children’s books.
