Archive Manager (Maternity cover for 6/9 months)

Macmillan Publishers International Ltd is seeking to appoint an Archive Manager to cover maternity leave for 6 to 9 months. This will be a part time position for 2 or 3 days a week, hours are negotiable.

This role would particularly suit someone who has a passion or interest in books and literature. 

We welcome applicants who have either a postgraduate archive qualification or significant experience of working archives, or in the wider heritage industry. Experience of working with business archives would be an advantage as would knowledge of publishing history or previous experience of working in the publishing sector.

The successful applicant will oversee the daily operations of the archive, manage the small archive team and carry out routine archiving work to support the business including answering internal and external queries.

The position is based in our offices in Basingstoke there is potential for some flexibility to work from home.
