Sales Administrator, Online and Supermarkets

An exciting opportunity for a Sales Administrator with a passion for reading to join our friendly, busy UK Sales department, supporting our Online and Supermarket sales teams.

As Sales Administrator, you will be supporting our Online and Supermarket sales teams (Sales Director, Sales Manager and Sales Executive). Together these teams are responsible for all of our UK digital and physical sales, including audio as well of some of the UK’s biggest supermarkets.

You will have varied responsibilities including managing retailer submission grids, liaising with our distributors and retailers, and managing some event and author orders. We work across all of our lists covering both adult and children’s titles for each account.

Key tasks of the role:

• To compile and circulate sales reports to Online and Supermarket team and wider business.
• To work closely with Sales Manager and Sales Director.
• To demonstrate a wide range of knowledge across our lists.
• The ability to work under pressure, use initiative, and have close attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Evidence of teamwork and hitting deadlines.
• Evidence of Excel and organisational skills.
• Some office experience in sales administration or bookselling/publishing experience (not essential).

The position will be 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday. This is a permanent, full time role, and will be based in our offices in Farringdon, London, with some flexibility to work from home each week.

Salary starting from: £23,000
