We have a fantastic new opportunity with a highly interesting membership organisation with stunning London offices, who have a strong membership in over 60 countries. Our client offers an extensive range of education and professional development, for members and their wider community. This could be your opportunity to help transform a mainly print journal into a dynamic, interactive digital publication for a specialist audience across the world. Our client offers hybrid working, with a mixture of 2-3 days a week in the office.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Taking the lead on the editorial production and development of their flagship publication
- Overseeing the digital transformation of the publication to an online offering
- Ensuring the publication is delivered to the highest quality, on schedule and within budget
- Working interactively with an external Editorial Board, plus other stakeholders and colleagues
- Develop a strategic publishing plan relating to the journal and potential supporting products and publications
- Identify potential new editorial products
This is a great opportunity for someone with drive and experience of digital professional publications, with an established editorial career who can demonstrate successful delivery of digital publications/journals and supporting content.
You will have demonstrable experience of editorial leadership on a professional, or technical publication with the ability to provide creative and imaginative input, while ensuring attention to detail is your focus. You will be innovative and keen to explore new editorial possibilities, along with a commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial approach.
