Managing Editor

We have a great new Managing Editor role with a digitally-focused publisher of medical research, who produce amazing digital content, and high-quality Open Access journals. The company is based in the South East (Buckinghamshire), and offers flexibility to work remotely if needed.

This exciting opportunity will be taking responsibility over the development and publication of three journals in their existing Open Access portfolio, with one direct report to manage. You will be ensuring that there is a good level of high quality content to be published by overseeing the publication strategy of the journals, and managing growth objectives around turnaround times, visibility, and readership.

The ideal candidate will be great with stakeholder management, and come from a journals publishing background. Experience in medical fields, or medical publishing would be preferred, but not essential.
