Marketing Assistant

We have a fabulous opportunity with an academic legal publisher who are looking for a marketing assistant. The role will be great for entry level marketing hopefuls who are looking to work in a lively and close knit team. The role is a full-time position based in Cambridge with hybrid working and offers amazing training and insights into the publishing industry.

This position is all about making sure that the published content (both digital and physical books) are promoted appropriately to all of the sales and communication channels. To do this you'll be involved in creation of marketing content, social media strategy and attending key meetings with other departments including editorial; a great chance to develop a variety of industry knowledge!

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promotion of the published content via the correct channels
  • Social Media and website updates
  • Liaising between authors and customers
  • Occasional travel to conferences

The ideal candidate for this role will have a keen interest in marketing, great communication skills and be confident in their abilities to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally. You will also have to have a keen eye for detail and great time management. Good IT and administrative skills are essential, as is excellent English language (both written and spoken).
