Marketing Communications Executive (maternity)

Marketing Communications Executive | Academic | 12 month contract. Do you have solid experience in marketing communications and great ideas to bring to this dynamic and creative team? This newly formed group within a leading academic publisher based in London, are currently looking to appoint a proactive and excellent communicator to this 12 month maternity contract position.
You will be a super-organised multi-tasker who can demonstrate strong skills in managing projects, deadlines and expectations. Promoting their growing portfolio of Open Access journals, you will focus on developing and implementing effective marketing communications, taking the lead on projects and collaborating with internal colleagues at all levels across the business.
Experienced in creating engaging, effective email campaigns and skilled with HTML and Excel, you will be highly analytical and will be able to quickly interpret results and spot trends.
Responsibilities also include:
·Build campaigns in Dreamweaver using existing HTML template library
·Conduct list research and provide specific and detailed list recommendations
·Work with Marketing Managers to agree on campaign briefs
·Build accurate recipient lists from in-house database tools
·Proofread and fact check content of all campaigns prior to launch
·Utilize Adestra and internal systems to execute email campaigns
·Analyze email campaign metrics
·Carry out other marketing activities as required
