Marketing / Communications Specialist

An exciting new role, of Marketing / Communications Specialist, has arisen with a professional membership body. Reporting to the Communications Manager this role will be a vital part of the organisations strategy for communicating with its members, corporate partners and the wider community.

We are seeking a talented individual who can create compelling campaigns that will enrich the members' experience, increase engagement and promote the benefits of membership to wider audiences, whilst also using data-led insights to create reports and drive continuous improvement.

If successful you will be responsible for managing the editorial calendar, sourcing and writing stories, content creation, management and delivery of email communication campaigns and serving as the go-to specialist for colleagues who have queries or suggestions, providing coaching / mentoring when necessary. You will also work closely with the Marketing Manager and many other stakeholders across the organisation, to implement recommendations arising from recent audits.

You will ideally have completed a degree in a marketing or technology-related discipline and have at least two year's experience in a similar role. It would be beneficial to your application if you have previously worked for a charity or membership organisation.

It would be essential to have knowledge of email marketing tools (ideally DotMailer), familiarity with analytic tools and also with CRM systems.
