Marketing & Customer Support Coordinator

Our client is a highly prestigious professional membership body for the subject of computer science based in New York - this is a not for profit organisation who publish scientific research across books, journals, magazines and across their digital library, they organise conferences and create resources for their members. We are looking for a Marketing and Customer Support Coordinator to join them, responsible for managing marketing inventory, conference exhibition logistics and customer support based in their Manhattan offices.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide sales support for the digital library - working with subscribers, agents, institutional customers and end users
  • Manage logistics for sales related conferences and events
  • Monitor marketing promotional and information materials
  • Proactively update sales related websites
  • Coordinate customer newsletter via an email marketing campaign

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a customer focused, marketing driven or sales support role within professional, academic or STM publishing. Strong customer service skills, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels is absolutely essential as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, and superb organisational and project management skills.
