Marketing Director - Children's

Our client, an award winning publisher, is looking for a Marketing Director within their Children's division to shape their campaign strategies and contribute to the overall division strategy, as a key member of the Children's leadership team. This role offers a unique chance to drive campaigns that champion d├ębut and upcoming authors, best-selling authors, and to engage readers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead innovative campaign strategies, shaping the future of Children's books.
  • Collaborate closely with the Publicity Director and the Children's leadership team to expand the business.
  • Manage a talented marketing team, fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment.
  • Oversee campaign execution, ensuring memorable and successful outcomes.

We seek an experienced marketer who is looking for their next step in their career or wanting a new challenge with an award winning Trade publisher. They will need a strong track record in promoting content, brands, and products targeted at families and children. The ideal candidate will possess commercial and strategic insights into audience engagement, effectively managing teams and budgets to execute standout campaigns. We're looking for a creative strategist with a strong consumer focus to develop engaging campaigns both online and offline. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to influence diverse stakeholders will be key.

While a background in publishing is advantageous, it is not essential. Key attributes include proven expertise in marketing, a positive and collaborative approach to leadership, and the ability to drive successful marketing initiatives that resonate with target audiences.
