Marketing Director | Academic | China. A leading, global academic publisher is looking to appoint an experienced Marketing Director who will be responsible for the development and delivery of the marketing strategy to increase sales revenue and profitability for their books and journals portfolio in the Chinese market.
Reporting to the Managing Director, China you will drive change and transformation and will build a strong brand footprint throughout the region.
Based in their offices in Beijing, you will create and own the high-level marketing strategy, actively contributing to revenue generation and with your customer driven approach, you will be able to build strong networks internally and externally with stakeholders. Acting as a brand ambassador for China, you will consider ways to harness new technologies to spearhead marketing initiatives which will drive lead generation and digital marketing.

* Contribute to the global marketing strategy
* Management and responsibility of the Marketing P&L in China
You will need to demonstrate your experience in leading a marketing team in addition to having solid international experience. Results focused, your commercial skills and experience will be essential. Resilient and able to overcome challenges through your solutions-oriented approach, you will have first class influencing skills mixed with excellent communications skills. Strong business English both verbal and written is a must have.
