Marketing Executive

An international STM publisher of books and journals is looking for a Marketing Executive to join their small central London office. You will create and implement campaigns for titles, assist with events and liaise with sales colleagues and distributors. This role would suit a second jobber with experience in a marketing role who is looking for a step up.

 

Key duties:

  • Create and implement effective campaigns for books and e-books
  • Create marketing collateral
  • Work with booksellers, book reviewers and authors
  • Coordinate book launches and events
  • Work with sales reps and distributors in the UK and overseas

Experience / skills required:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • A Publishing MA or demonstrable work experience in publishing is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage own workload and use initiative
  • Knowledge of InDesign and HTML is advantageous
