Marketing Executive

A leading publisher of performing arts books has an opening for a Marketing Executive to join their team in central London. You will devise marketing campaigns for key titles, organise events and manage a small budget. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with marketing experience in publishing who would like a new challenge and has an interest in theatre and the performing arts. Full-time or part-time working will be considered depending on the experience of the successful candidate. 

Key duties:

• Devise and implement marketing campaigns for key titles
• Pitch to media contacts for feature and review coverage
• Organise author events and book launches and attend external events
• Create press releases and monthly newsletters and prepare presentations for sales conferences
• Manage the advertising budget and ensure ads are targeted and relevant

Experience / skills required:

• Marketing experience in trade book publishing is preferred
• Proven success devising and implementing your own campaigns
• Confidence working with a range of people, including authors and the press
• Ability to manage a budget
• Passion for the theatre and performing arts would be a plus
