An innovative and highly successful digital company in the Academic publishing space is seeking an analytical and driven Marketing Executive to join their rapidly growing, and friendly team based in Oxford. The Marketing Executive will report to the Head of Marketing and be responsible for planning, implementing and reviewing marketing and communications activities, and increasing awareness and engagement with the services for customer groups (including researchers, universities and publishers). Responsibilities will include: direct marketing, multi-channel campaigns, advocacy marketing, lead generation, copy-writing, PR activities, pay per click campaigns, and research.
The ideal Marketing Executive will have proven experience in generating leads, growing usage and increasing engagement across digital channels. You will be analytical, and have excellent attention to detail, as well as compelling and persuasive written communication skills, and a track record of working relatively autonomously to deliver projects on time and to budget. You'll need to be technically savvy, as you'll use a variety of systems. Experience of the academic sector would be an advantage, but is not essential.
