Marketing Executive (Academic)
Do you have marketing experience working on History and Literary Studies? Are you an organised and enthusiastic self-starter? We have a new opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join an award-winning publisher in central London.
Key duties:
- Develop strategy, marketing plan and budget for the History and Literary Studies list
- Implement marketing plans including email marketing, SEO, social media and events
- Provide feedback to Editorial on book proposals
- Deliver creative marketing campaign to drive engagement and sales
- Travel within the UK and Europe for events and conference, occasional evening book launches
Experience / skills required:
- Proven book marketing experience within academic publishing
- Strong interpersonal skills with skills to maintain relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Keen eye for details and exceptional organisational management skills
- Experience of devising creative and experimental campaigns
