Marketing Executive - Home Based

We have a fabulous new marketing position for an experienced marketing professional looking to work from home.  A highly respected international Membership organisation based in central London is looking for an experienced, motivated and self-reliant marketing professional to manage marketing and communication to its members and wider professional community. This is a full marketing role which will also involve managing the organisation’s brand identity and the promotion of Conferences, Awards, training courses, webinars, exhibitions etc.

The Key responsibilities of the Marketing Executive will include:

• Working with both the Membership and Professional Development Managers to establish a marketing plan
• Liaise with team members to write good quality copy based on the organisation’s programmes and activities
• Work  with the wider team to produce the training brochure and other marketing material such as pens, notepads etc., providing advice and guidance
• Co-ordinating design and production of print and digital advertising
• Working with the Membership Manager, develop and produce marketing campaigns

Further responsibilities will involve working on newsletters and bulletins, and managing and developing branded materials.   You will also manage the organisation’s social media presence, including Twitter and LinkedIn, along with regular publishing of relevant topics on the organisation’s blog. Responsibility for the company’s website will also be a key responsibility, ensuring the website is up to date.

This is a broad and varied marketing role and the successful person will have:

• Demonstrable experience of working in a marketing and communications role (Experience of working in a membership organisation and/or an understanding of professional publishing is desirable, but not essential).
• A high level of motivation and self-reliance, with the ability to work unsupervised.
• The ability to communicate confidently with members at all levels of seniority
• Strong computer skills including MS Office
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to attend monthly team meetings in London and occasional events and exhibitions
