A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Executive at a leading Educational Publisher who are looking to appoint a Marketing Executive or Senior Marketing Executive (title dependent on experience). The company offer an excellent salary and benefits, career development opportunities, and hybrid working, with 3 days to be spent in their London (or Banbury) office and 2 days working from home.
The (Senior) Marketing Executive will sit within the Secondary marketing team and be responsible for planning and executing creative and compelling marketing campaigns, targeting schools and colleges, working across a range of Secondary subjects. Key responsibilities of the Marketing Executive / Senior Marketing Executive include:
- Planning and executing digital and offline campaigns
- Develop marketing activities for defined subjects and resources - working with printers, mailing houses, freelance designers etc.
- Create impactful and measurable on and offline marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with sales and publishing colleagues to ensure transparency in activity and results
- Manage a budget for each subject area, tracking spend
- Use market intelligence to understand customer needs
- Use the CRM system effectively to data mine, segment and target campaigns
Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, this is a busy and varied role that allows the Marketing Executive to exhibit a range of marketing skills, as well as a sound grasp of budgeting and reporting. The successful Marketing Executive will be a confident communicator who welcomes multitasking, but is able to prioritise and meet deadlines. You will have a good understanding of the full marketing mix, encompassing online and offline, digital and print (including direct mail) marketing techniques.
