A leading academic publisher of high quality, peer reviewed journals and books is looking to appoint two Marketing Executives within a new team in the Journals Marketing team. The roles are open to all candidates in the UK and can be worked on a fully remote basis or 1-2 days in their office in Oxford or London.
These are fantastic opportunities to be involved in marketing new products across a range of portfolios.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with colleagues in editorial, marketing and production, you will use your deep knowledge of author needs and motivations towards publishing and will play a pivotal role within the marketing team.
- To develop and maintain an awareness of publishing market developments
- Taking a results-driven approach to deliver engaging messaging across a range of digital channels to funnel customers through every stage of their journey
- Reporting on your activities, maintaining budgets and trackers as required to ensure KPIs are met across multiple benchmarks, sharing learnings to support continuous improvement
- Being accountable for managing own learning, taking responsibility to identify and develop skills gaps
The ideal candidates will have experience of conducting market and customer research to inform your marketing, and the ability to pivot and adapt to market changes. A strong team player, you will also have fantastic communication and time management skills.
