Marketing Manager

We have a fantastic new role of Marketing Manager to develop, manage and implement the marketing campaigns for the Assessment portfolio of a global Educational publisher. This role sits within the company's English Language Teaching (ELT) division. It offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits and long-term career development opportunities. Hybrid working is an option, where the Marketing team will ideally look to come together in the company's Oxford office c. 2 days per week.

The Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally to define strategies and deliver marketing campaigns for the English Language Teaching Assessment products and services. As Marketing Manager you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create and deliver marketing strategies and plans for agreed assessment products and customer segments
  • Take a data-driven, customer-centric approach to marketing to inform future planning
  • Ensure that sales teams are trained in promoting agreed products within the assessment portfolio
  • Equip and motivate regional marketing colleagues to plan and deliver local assessment campaigns and events alongside other marketing activities
  • Optimize opportunities for automating the customer journey to deliver efficiencies and generate leads.

The ideal Marketing Manager will be a creative, customer-focused Marketing professional with experience in developing marketing plans and implementing multichannel campaigns. Knowledge of ELT, Education or the Assessment sector would be a bonus but not essential. Experience and/or knowledge in marketing fundamentals such as situation analysis, KPI setting, lead generation, customer data management, dashboards, customer journey mapping, would be really valuable. Excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills along with the ability to prioritise a heavy workload are all important.
