Marketing Manager

We have a new role of Marketing Manager with a prestigious global publisher for the Higher Education sector. This role involves driving the overall marketing strategy of Higher Education subject areas to reach and exceed targets for the UK market and internationally. The role is permanent and full-time, and offers flexible hybrid working (with 3 days per week required in the London offices), a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering strategic and creative campaigns for digital and print products to generate sales leads. This involves delivering internal product training, gathering feedback from customers, CRM analysis to monitor effectiveness of campaigns and allow analysis of sales pipeline, along with supporting the sales teams throughout the academic year to win new business and ensure existing clients renew. This will also involve regular customer visits to develop market and competitor awareness, engaging with customers on core social media channels and contributing to the overall strategy and development of their social media plans.

The ideal marketing manager will have experience of delivering successful marketing campaigns, hitting targets and managing a varied and busy workload, with knowledge of higher education or educational / academic publishing. They will have a great commercial awareness, strong communication skills and marketing management using the full marketing mix. Salesforce and Marketo experience would be an advantage.
