Marketing Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join a prestigious STM publisher in central London. The chosen candidate will be responsible for raising awareness of the open access books programme in order to grow author base, visibility and usage.    

 

Key duties:

  • Strategic planning, execution and analysis of the open access books programme to grow proposals
  • Build awareness, visibility and usage of programme through multiple digital and offline tactics
  • Deliver an international marketing communications plan
  • Key relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
  • Regularly report on and analyse the success of campaigns
  • Forecasting, campaign costing and monitoring budgets
  • Coordinate and attend exhibits at conferences worldwide and keep abreast of industry trends

Experience / skills required:

  • Solid books marketing experience in a global STM or academic publishing environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of open access
  • Proven track record of delivering successful results-oriented campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills, highly organised and able to manage a busy workload
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
