Senior Marketing Manager
We have a new opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager to join a leading independent trade publisher in central London. You will oversee the marketing for their diverse range of illustrated books and provide senior marketing input for all aspects of the business from corporate image to product development and of course ensuring marketing plans support and increase sales.
Key duties:
- Oversee all marketing activity for the publisher’s imprints and series
- Work with the Head of Publicity to develop targeted, consumer-focused marketing campaigns
- Manage the marketing department, setting targets, monitoring workloads, and ensuring effective marketing plans are carried through
- Responsible for the company’s marketing budget – forecasting both corporate marketing costs and budget for each individual title
- Put together and present monthly reports on marketing activity to the board
- Provide input into product development as appropriate, identifying new consumer and B2B markets and needs
Experience / skills required:
- Marketing and campaign management experience in book publishing
- Experience of working in the area of illustrated trade non-fiction is highly desirable
- People management experience and a collaborative approach
- A data and results driven marketing approach
- An enthusiastic and flexible attitude
