Marketing Manager

A prestigious academic publisher in central London has an opening for a Marketing Manager to work on a relatively new suite of online learning products and resources. The Marketing Manager will develop strategic marketing plans for their assigned products in order to generate sales and brand awareness. It’s a varied and interesting role which involves a mix of digital and content marketing as well as events. It would particularly suit someone with an interest in e-learning and academic publishing.

Key duties:

  • Create and deploy multi-channel strategic marketing plans for online learning products and resources
  • Collaborate with the wider team, including Product Managers and Editorial staff
  • Develop the content marketing strategy and oversee the creation of targeted and compelling marketing copy
  • Manage social media and paid advertising and deliver email campaigns
  • Manage the conference schedule for your suite of products
  • Build relationships with relevant third-parties and partners as well as influencers
  • Conduct market research and use analytics to make improvements to user journeys and conversion rates
  • Advise on marketing budget spend for your assigned products

Experience / skills required:

  • Proven multi-channel strategic marketing experience
  • Experience marketing online products is essential
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience marketing e-learning products or working in a tech start-up environment would be highly beneficial
