This Marketing Manager role is a great opportunity to help develop new marketing strategies within an international publishing organisation, where you will play a pivotal role within their highly successful and innovative marketing team.

The Marketing Manager will work within the academic books division, within the marketing team and will play a key role in growing the business outside of higher education in both the private and public sectors.  You will be responsible for driving engagement and leads for a range of customers in the UK, EMEA and Asia Pacific, as well as helping to determine KPIs, produce innovative new marketing campaigns and evaluate and measure activity.  There will be international travel to meet customers and attend industry events.

Who we are looking for

You will already be a marketing professional, ideally with some experience of working within a successful publishing marketing team.  You will have a good understanding of how marketing and sales colleagues can work collaboratively to generate and nurture leads and you will have the motivation to learn about customer needs.

  • Demonstrable success in maximising customer acquisition through innovative marketing campaigns
  • An analytical approach to reporting on your marketing campaigns results
  • Commercial acumen to understand how content fits into the broader marketplace and identify opportunities for business growth
  • Commitment to build strong relationships and work in partnership with others to develop new ideas
  • A track record of working autonomously
