Marketing Manager - China

A leading international publisher of high-quality academic books and journals is looking for a creative and target-driven Marketing Manager to join their team in Beijing! This role will focus on creating and implementing marketing strategies to maximise revenue growth opportunities in the China marke, aimed at academic clients, including institutions, libraries, NGO's, and other local publishers. This role is based in Beijing, and offers remote working options within the Beijing territory.

In this role you will be:

  • Designing and executing marketing campaigns to generate new business and upselling opportunities
  • Managing marketing strategies and analytics, monitoring campaigns performance to inform sales and marketing tactics
  • Planning regular support and usage campaigns for libraries, collaborating with Sales teams to coordinate these activities
  • Managing a small team, providing leadership guidance to encourage a positive team culture and supporting the development and creativity of the direct reports

We are looking for someone who will be confident implementing growth strategies in new markets, and who will be goal-orientated and able to manage a varied product portfolio. They will be able to research and analyse the market and the competitors' activity, and designing targeted marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will preferably come from a B2B publishing environment, and be fluent in both English and Mandarin.
