We have a great opportunity for a Marketing Manager wishing to join the team of a global publisher of academic journals, books and digital resources!
The post will focus on using a mix of marketing tools and channels to create campaigns to encourage article submissions for Open Access journals from high profile academics and researchers. The Marketing Manager will oversee all marketing plans for a growing portfolio of OA journals both at the discipline and product level; this role might also overtake line management responsibilities on a Marketing Assistant.
This company is based in London and offering a hybrid model with ca. 20% of the time to be spent in the office.
- Designing and executing multi-channel campaigns for the OA journals portfolio
- Monitoring performance and evaluating campaigns, looking at author experience throughout the process
- Preparing and managing annual marketing budgets for assigned journals
- Managing 1 direct report (Marketing Assistant)
- Bringing creativity and innovation to develop new digital tools and campaigns
- Managing marketing budget for assigned products
This role is an exciting step up for a B2C Marketing professional keen to take on strategic and managerial responsibilities. We are looking for someone with a good grasp of product/channel marketing in a B2C setting, preferably within academic publishing. They will need to demonstrate strong copy writing and project management skills, and the ability to plan, implement and measure marketing campaigns aimed at specific audiences.
