Marketing Manager - Education

A highly successful and forward-thinking publisher of educational products is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to join their Higher education Strategic Marketing department to cover maternity leave for a period of 9-12 months.

The Strategic Marketing Manager will manage a portfolio of the organisation’s high profile HE products to achieve revenue growth within the EMEA region.  This role will involve working with key functions within the business to devise and implement strategies for marketing the product portfolio and will develop multi-channel integrated and content-led marketing campaigns by taking ownership of the portfolio (both print and digital) in all aspects of the marketing remit, to increase sales for the lists.

The Marketing Manager will support the HE Sales team across all markets by creating sales tools to disseminate product and market information and will participate and present in the product strategy sessions at sales meetings.

You will undertake market research and analyse data in order to support customer decisions and work closely with internal departments and the wider organisation to utilise this information effectively.

Experience required includes:

  • Demonstrable product marketing experience, ideally within educational or academic publishing or the business information sector
  • An understanding sales drivers, product positioning, presentation and copywriting skills
  • First class communication and organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
