If so our client, a professional membership organisation, is looking to appoint a Marketing and Engagement Executive to their marketing team. This role could also be attractive to a candidate looking to step up to Senior Marketing and Engagement Executive level. This role will focus on the promotion of the organisation and will support the delivery and implementation of marketing plans, including events and membership. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Sales, you will develop a strong working relationship with colleagues across the organisation, providing the delivery of excellent marketing plans, coordinating activities using a range of marketing channels.
Some of the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Using a data led approach to develop and refine marketing plans
- Liaising with the Events Manager, to oversee all marketing activities at external exhibitions, conferences and meetings
- Creating compelling written, visual copy for digital and printed marketing collateral
- Utilising data analytics to uncover market trends and patterns, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making
- Generating comprehensive reports to support data-driven decision-making
- Overseeing the website, developing content and keeping it updated, ensuring pages are optimised for SEO and its target audience
With demonstrable experience in a marketing role, preferably within a membership organisation, non-profit sector, or academic publishing, the ideal candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various marketing channels. Proficient with digital marketing strategies, you will have experience using CRM systems and data analytics to support marketing initiatives. Strong project management skills are a must for this position as will be your track record of achieving marketing objectives and contributing to revenue growth.
