Medical Editor

Our client is a specialist healthcare publisher and medical education agency based in Buckinghamshire. They are looking to hire a Medical Editor to join their editorial team.

The role:

You will be leading and be responsible for the editorial across several difference publications and other pieces of content including: events materials event supplements, handbooks, emails and webinars; ensuring quality and accuracy of content. You will most likely work across several different areas but most likely to be in diseases, so a familiarity and understanding of the technical phrases within diseases would be beneficial.

Required Skills and experience:

·Ideally you will have a Life sciences degree or higher
·Excellent editorial skills
·PRoject management
·Communication - both written and verbal
·Keen interest in science communication
·Demonstrable experience in writing, sub editing and proofreading
